Mr. McMahon has been practicing law for over 25 years in the areas of insurance defense and commercial litigation, while immersing himself in representing clients serving the entirety of the transportation, trucking and logistics industries. Mr. McMahon has a wealth of experience in representing interstate and intrastate motor carriers (ranging from large fleet carriers to owner operators), brokers and logistics providers, providing legal services in all aspects of their day to day business and risk management practices. He has successfully defended, arbitrated and mediated numerous bodily injury claims arising from catastrophic and low impact injuries, many involving complex legal and regulatory issues under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and applicable state regulations.

He has also been consulted upon and litigated many cargo loss claims involving interstate, ocean and cross border freight, often times involving the application of transportation contracts and tariffs to shipments moving under various bills of lading.

Drafting and negotiating transportation contracts between brokers, motor carriers, shippers and logistics providers, is a staple of Mr. McMahon’s legal practice, as it must be for any transportation attorney.
